Arboreal Apiculture Salon #26

January 28, 2023 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm PST

Free

The Arboreal Apiculture Salon is an opportunity for a global arboreal apiculture community to connect and meet for exchange and symbiotic learning, to share innovative ideas, and to be a resource for each other. Listen to or chat with arboreal apiculture experts and enthusiasts from around the world and develop a deeper connection to Arboreal Apiculture & Apiology.

Our Guest will be Chelsea Batavia. She is an Environmental Scientist with the Delta Stewardship Council. She researches how human ethical values and beliefs affect environmental management and conservation. She uses social scientific methods to ask and answer questions informed by scholarship in environmental ethics and moral philosophy. Her overarching interest is in understanding what it means for humans to conduct themselves responsibly toward human and nonhuman life on Earth, and to learn how such responsible human conduct can be achieved.

Co-hosted by Cheyanna Bone (Apis Arborea), Jonathan Powell (Natural Beekeeping Trust), and Michael Joshin Thiele (Apis Arborea).

The Salon is a free event, serving communities around the globe. If you would like more info or have a suggestion for a topic/ speaker, please send an email.
