How does it work?
Rewilding bees is centered on naturally occurring, wild, and unmanaged honeybee ecosystems. Apis Arborea is developing a new framework of apiculture that integrates log hives as a neoteric choice to restore nest habitat and protect honeybees in a time of mass extinction.
One of our current programs is the Honeybee Conservation & Rehabilitation Module. It provides a turn-key methodology and strategy for restoring apian nest habitat and the preservation of honeybees within a range of diverse watersheds, from wild unmanaged country, open space, and forests to agricultural land, orchards, and educational community farms.
Nest sites are only populated with bees from within the local watershed through swarming. We do not introduce non-local swarms or package bees.
