Regenerative Apiculture & Wilding – 7 Month Course
March 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm PDT
This 7 month course* outlines the foundational practices of Apis Arborea’s map for Regenerative Apiculture & Wilding. We are following an innovative and comprehensive model of apiculture that integrates ethics, biodynamic values, deep ecology, and biomimicry. It promotes the natural life cycles and gestures of honeybees, free of intensive management practices and promotes self-willed local populations in various ecological systems.
The program provides insights into creating, supporting, integrating and maintaining regenerative networks of free-living honeybees within local watersheds, communities, and bio-regions. Participants will gain knowledge of innovative practices and learn how to implement these techniques throughout the season. The 7th session offers an opportunity, for those interested, to present their local projects within the group.

At Apis Arborea we promote holistic approaches to honeybee conservation and apiculture for the protection and regeneration of local honeybee populations. We encourage a multi-disciplinary, collaborative problem-solving approach. Through diverse studies, cutting-edge sciences, and an exploration of the sentience and birthrights of honeybees, we identify and integrate ‘wilding’ principles to support the self-willed ecological processes of honeybees within living landscapes. Our guiding light and compass point is the innate wisdom found within wild, free living Honeybees. We invite you to join us and become an integral member of this growing global community of regenerative apiculture.
This live stream event promises to cultivate an environment conducive to interactive learning and robust discourse, fostering vibrant exchanges among participants irrespective of their level of beekeeping expertise. Join us in reimagining the future of beekeeping, harmonizing with the wisdom of the natural world. The instructors for this event will be Cheyanna Bone and Michael Thiele from the Apis Arborea team.
* the course can be taken as a series or as individual sessions. All sessions will be recorded and a link shared with participants. Scholarships available per request.
