Arboreal Apiculture Salon #32 (podcast of interview)

July 17, 2024 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm PDT

It is on honor to have Prof. Dr. Peter Neumann from the University of Bern, Switzerland, as our guest at the Salon. We will meet with him in mid July and hope to have our interview with him published by the end of the month.

Peter is the Vinetum professor of the Institute of Bee Health. His research and teaching covers all aspects of bee health with focus on behavioral, evolutionary and molecular ecology of honey bees and their pathogens. One very interesting research papers he published is “The Darwin cure for apiculture?”

The Arboreal Apiculture Salon is an opportunity for a global arboreal apiculture community to connect and meet for exchange and symbiotic learning, to share innovative ideas, and to be a resource for each other. Listen to or chat with arboreal apiculture experts and enthusiasts from around the world and develop a deeper connection to Arboreal Apiculture & Apiology.

Co-hosted by Cheyanna Bone, Jonathan Powell (Natural Beekeeping Trust), and Michael Joshin Thiele (Apis Arborea).

The Salon is a free event, serving communities around the globe. If you would like more info or have a suggestion for a topic/ speaker, please send an email.
